After 6 years
of data and trends of college football teams we have put together this
website as a service to football fans throughout the country. You may find some, if not many of our
observations and opinions not in line with yours or the mainstream
media. However, the facts and numbers
speak for themselves and the information contained in this website is simply
the result of what the data tells us.
We do not have a bias to the facts, nor do we let emotion play a part
in our statistics, rankings and predictions.
We simply want to be correct and factual. We know that we cannot get it all right,
but we can come close. In 2007, BCS
teams won 197 of 259 non-conference games.
Our modeling said 196 before the first snap of the season. Throughout this website, we try to provide
information and our own observations during the hundreds of hours of putting
this together. We may be short on
information for some teams so be sure to send us an email listed for each
team on its web page about your thoughts. Please keep
in mind that if you are looking for us to tell you that the season is a level
playing field, or the
Big East is a strong CFB conference, that undefeated non-BCS schools should have
an equal shot at a national title without playing multiple top twenty teams
in a season, or that
Notre Dame and
Miami (Fl) did
not massively underperform last year, then this is the wrong website
for you. Deep down, most college
football fans have a idea about the strength of schedule, the under or over
performance of teams and conferences and we try our best to bring light to
that reality. Simply put, it is what
it is. We are not going to go into the
nature of formulas or ‘statistically significant whatevers’ in our stats and
predictions, but our numbers are based in past results and future
performance. We take
questions, concerns, and suggestions from all fans. We are looking to work with our group of
dedicated volunteers (CFB junkies) to add in information about
non-BCS
conferences, blogs,
news, recruiting information, roster information and forums for
everyone. Let us know what you would
like to have available through us. We
do accept donations to reward the folks that have put in their time and
effort to get this going. Most fans
pay a lot of money for pre-season magazines, predictions and other CFB
websites. If you value our information
and service please feel free to donate whatever amount you feel we have
‘earned’ for our efforts. We hope that
you enjoy our website, our efforts and the information found within. Please send general comments, suggestions
and requests to us at
